The Bachelor's Degree (1st cycle) in Marketing aims to train professionals capable of performing their activities with a high level of technical and scientific competence, focusing on skills that intersect with knowledge in the scientific areas of management and marketing, through the use of up-to-date tools, techniques, and knowledge that enable them to operate in modern marketing environments. At the same time, the aim is for the study cycle to contribute to the development of the region where ISLA is located and of the country as a whole, by training specialized marketing technicians who contribute to: (1) improving the competitiveness of organizations; (2) developing working relationships and trust based on teamwork; (3) developing quality scientific research in order to ensure the production of useful knowledge; (4) professional marketing practice guided by principles and ethics.

ObjectivosObjectives
The Marketing degree aims to prepare professionals with multidisciplinary training to work in the areas of Marketing, involving: - Acquisition of knowledge of mathematics, statistics, and law. - Acquisition of knowledge and skills in the areas of management applied to economics and accounting, people management, financial management, business strategy, logistics, and distribution. - Acquiring knowledge and skills in key areas of marketing, namely price and product management, market research, consumer behavior, marketing applied to services, international marketing, B2B, digital, e-commerce, and brand management. - Developing marketing activities in a national and international context. - Application of AI techniques in solving marketing problems. - Collection, selection, and interpretation of relevant information, analysis of experimental results, and testing of hypotheses in the areas of marketing. - Use of technologies, methods, and techniques related to marketing. - Development of teamwork and resource and time management. -

Students who apply through the institutional entrance exam and pass the following entrance exams (as provided for in CNAES Resolution No. 1155/2023) are eligible to apply for this cycle of studies: 18 Portuguese + 04 Economics or 8 Portuguese + 09 Geography or 18 Portuguese + 16 Mathematics or 18 Portuguese + 11 History or 18 Portuguese + 06 Philosophy or 18 Portuguese + 13 English Minimum admission score must be equal to or higher than the score set by the institution. (CFS: 50%; CEN: 50%). There are no prerequisites. Candidates may also enrol through: - Institution/course transfer schemes; - Special competition, in accordance with the legal regulations in force (holders of higher education degrees, holders of CET and TeSP degrees, holders of double certification secondary education degrees and those over 23 years of age); - Candidates who meet the conditions set out in the International Student Statute. -
