  O1. Introduce the fundamental concepts of project management. O2. Present the phases of a project and develop the specific aspects related to each one. O3. Discuss agile methodologies in project management. O4. Apply project management concepts in a business context. O5. Apply the knowledge acquired in a simulation context, incorporating not only the knowledge acquired in this curricular unit, but also the knowledge acquired in other courses. O6. Develop and manage a project incorporating the theoretical and practical knowledge acquired.

• MetodologiaMethodology

  The teaching methodology combines synchronous online activities, in-person sessions, and independent study. The online sessions focus on presenting and exploring course content through lectures and demonstrations, promoting an understanding of concepts and their initial application. In-person classes employ active teaching methods, including Problem-Based Learning (PBL), the use of project management tools (MS Project, Trello, or Jira), and flipped classroom strategies, with videos and supporting materials made available in advance on Moodle. Independent study consists of guided research to reinforce the content and support the development of practical activities. The instructor monitors student progress through tutorial guidance and feedback, either in person or via the Moodle platform. Students can also use the Philix.ai virtual tutor for additional support.

  Avaliação Curricular (contínua):- A1. Trabalho prático (grupo). Com implementação, relatório escrito e apresentação em aula.- A2. Teste final teórico/prático (individual). Teste escrito.
  A classificação final é calculada através da fórmula Classificação Final = A1*0,6+A2*0,4. O estudante é aprovado se obtiver classificação
  igual ou superior a 9,5 valores.
  Avaliação Final e Época de Recurso/Especial.
  Hipótese 1:- A1. Trabalho prático (grupo). O estudante participou no trabalho no qual obteve classificação positiva e obteve classificação positiva na
  componente de avaliação individual: mantém a classificação que será considerada nas épocas subsequentes (Avaliação Final,
  Recurso/Especial)- A2. Teste teórico/prático (individual). O estudante realiza este Teste escrito em qualquer das épocas em que se submeta a avaliação.
  A classificação final é calculada através da fórmula prevista na avaliação Curricular (contínua).
  Hipótese 2:- A1. Trabalho prático (grupo). O estudante não realizou o trabalho prático, ou obteve classificação negativa no mesmo ou na componente
  de avaliação individual. Nestas circunstâncias esta componente da avaliação não poderá ser utilizada na Avaliação Final ou de
  Recurso/Especial.
  Aplica-se o previsto para qualquer das épocas em que o estudantes se submeta a avaliação:
  Avaliação Final, Avaliação em Época de Recurso/Especial (A): O estudante realiza o exame teórico-prático escrito (A=100%) e é aprovado
  se obtiver uma classificação igual ou superior a 9,5 valores em 20.
