  O1. To familiarise students with the practices, languages and methods of communication design. O2. To master the notions and organisational principles of visual communication. O3. Master visual identity systems - corporate identity. O4 Adapt the choice of fonts to different projects, always bearing in mind their function. O5. Master the process of developing a project. O6. Demonstrate the ability to coordinate text and image material on a two-dimensional surface, hierarchising content and making it expressive. O7. Master vector and bitmap drawing tools.

• MetodologiaMethodology

  The teaching methodology combines synchronous online activities, in-person sessions, and independent study. The online sessions use lecture-based and interactive methods to present and reinforce the content, supplemented by texts, videos, and other materials that will serve as the basis for the in-person activities. In-person classes focus on Problem-Based Learning (PBL), promoting the development of projects to solve problems identified by students or proposed by the instructor. Independent study includes the analysis of a case study and other consolidation activities. The instructor monitors student progress through tutorial guidance and feedback provided in person or via the Moodle platform. Students can also use the Philix.ai virtual tutor as a supplementary resource to support their learning process.

  Avaliação Curricular (contínua):
  A1. Trabalho prático (grupo).
  A2. Teste final teórico/prático (individual).
  A classificação final é calculada através da fórmula Classificação Final = A1*0,5+A2*0,5.
  O estudante é aprovado se obtiver classificação igual ou superior a 9,5 valores.
  A classificação mínima na avaliação curricular (continua) a aplicar é a seguinte:- Trabalho prático (grupo): 10 valores- Teste final teórico/prático (individual): 8 valores
  A avaliação dos trabalhos práticos em grupo, inclui a avaliação individual dos estudantes que terá uma ponderação de 40% na
  classificação do estudante nessa componente.
  Avaliação Final / Avaliação em Época de Recurso/Especial (A):
  Hipótese 1:
  A1. Trabalho prático (grupo). O estudante participou no trabalho de grupo e obteve classificação positiva na componente individual:
  mantém a nota que será considerada nestas épocas de avaliação.
  A2. Teste teórico/prático (individual). O estudante realiza este Teste em qualquer das épocas em que se submeta a avaliação.
  A classificação final é calculada através da formula prevista na avaliação Curricular (contínua).
  Hipótese 2:
  O estudante não participou no trabalho de grupo ou participando obteve classificação negativa na componente de avaliação individual.
  Avaliação Final, Avaliação em Época de Recurso/Especial (A): O estudante realiza o exame teórico-prático (A=100%) e é aprovado se
  obtiver uma classificação igual ou superior a 9,5 valores em 20.
