    The Master's Degree in Project Management, offered in partnership between ISLA Santarém and ISLA Gaia, with the participation of the cooperating company Buildcare, Lda., aims to provide distinctive training that focuses on the study and research of the latest trends in project management, using up-to-date tools, techniques and knowledge, always with a view to the practical application of concepts to the business world. At the same time, it is intended that the master's degree will contribute to the development of the regions where the proposing HEIs are located and of the country as a whole, through the training of specialised technicians who will contribute to projects by reducing costs, improving efficiency, mitigating risks, optimising resources and meeting the deadlines set for their implementation.

    The Master's Degree in Project Management aims to train professionals and researchers, enabling them to acquire professional specialisation in the scientific area of the study cycle, allowing them to: - Acquire specialised knowledge of the scientific disciplines that make up the scientific area of the course; - Acquire knowledge of research methodologies and management information processing in general and project management in particular; - Operationalise the scientific principles and concepts inherent to project management; - Understand the main challenges facing Project Management, demonstrating a critical vision that is essential for the correct adaptation of the knowledge and skills acquired to each context; - Develop and implement solutions to new and complex problems in the area of Project Management; - Master the tools, models and techniques of Project Management in national and international contexts; - Develop original applied research; - Lead and collaborate with work teams, contributing to knowledge sharing, the creation of synergies and the pursuit of objectives.

    Holders of a bachelor's degree or legal equivalent. Holders of a foreign higher education degree awarded following a 1st cycle of studies organised in accordance with the principles of the Bologna Process by a State adhering to this Process. Holders of a foreign higher education degree that is recognised as satisfying the objectives of a bachelor's degree by the Technical and Scientific Council of the Organic Unit. Holders of an academic, scientific or professional curriculum that is recognised as attesting to the ability to complete this cycle of studies by the Technical and Scientific Council of the Organic Unit. The recognition referred to in the previous points only grants access to these study cycles leading to a master's degree and does not confer on the holder equivalence to a bachelor's degree or recognition of that degree.
