ObjectivosObjectivesThe objectives of the course are: - To provide elements that contribute to an understanding of the mechanisms and relationships of tourist intermediation; - To produce management and entrepreneurship tools applicable to travel agencies; - To reflect on the evolution and rethink the future of travel agencies; - Raise awareness of the need to defend the quality of tourism products and services; - Build an ethical and responsible awareness of work behaviour and decision-making in tourism intermediation. By the end of the course students should be able to: - Proficiently use specific software for managing travel agencies and tour operators; - Demonstrate negotiation skills and a critical and self-critical spirit within the scope of travel agency and tour operator management processes.

MetodologiaMethodologyThe teaching approach adopted is based on the active method, encouraging co-operative (peer) and creative learning. Face-to-face: 1. theoretical-practical teaching: Presentation of concepts and discussion of programme contents. 2. Technical visit to an AGVT/OT 3. Simulated practice: Simulation using specific software for distributing and selling services; Scenarios and activities that allow students to explore real-world situations related to travel organisation, applying the fundamental concepts presented and developing practical skills. Autonomous: 4. Consolidation of the content taught in class through research into additional information on the different topics covered and development of additional work related to solving specific problems and group dynamics.

Avaliação curricular (contínua):
A avaliação da unidade curricular, em regime de avaliação contínua, é composta por:
- Teste teórico escrito: 30% da nota final;
- Trabalho teórico-prático com apresentação: 40% da nota final;
- Teste prático com a utilização do GDS Galileo: 30% da nota final.
Todos os estudantes que, neste regime de avaliação, obtenham média inferior a 9,50 valores serão automaticamente avaliados em avaliação final.
Os trabalhadores estudantes devem contactar a docente para esclarecimento de dúvidas relativas aos trabalhos de caractér obrigatório.
Avaliação final:
A avaliação final será realizada através de exame teórico-prático (100%), integrando tanto a componente teórica como a componente prática da unidade curricular.
