ObjectivosObjectivesThe objectives of the discipline are: O1. Define the basic concepts related to ergonomics; O2. Present the ergonomic aspects to be taken into account in the context of the workplace; O3. Apply appropriate techniques to assess occupational risks associated with occupational safety and hygiene conditions due to ergonomic factors. At the end of the course, students should be able to: C1. Know the scope of application of ergonomics in the workplace, identify risk factors and analyze specific risks; C2. Suggest measures to prevent occupational risks, in particular to prevent biomechanical risks; C3. Develop simulations with the application of calculation and analysis methodologies for solutions in the field of ergonomics.

MetodologiaMethodologyThe teaching methodologies are based on interrogative and active methods aimed at discussing and solving exercises related to the risks to which workers are exposed in real work contexts (case studies) in the classroom, accompanied by the presentation of theoretical content. The teacher provides case studies and practical application exercises that require the resolution of dangerous conditions usually the responsibility of the qualified professional in the area of ¿¿study, as well as other materials through the content management platform (Moodle).
