ApresentaçãoPresentationThe UC focuses on the analysis of the legislation applicable to the tourism sector and air transport, addressing international, European, and national law. The rules that regulate services, passenger rights and obligations of companies are a central part of the study. It encompasses the study of regulations affecting tourism companies, airlines, travel agencies, tour operators, and tourists or consumers of services themselves. It examines the role of regulatory authorities (such as ANAC, ICAO and IATA) and international standards such as the Montreal and Chicago conventions.

MetodologiaMethodologyThe methodology favors the exposition of the theoretical component of the subject, supported by the documentation provided by the teacher. Small discussions are also held on practical cases and topics related to the subject and the future professional framework of students. Students are also encouraged to work in groups, carrying out practical work that is presented orally before the class. Students learn while working on real or simulated projects that involve solving complex problems. They focus on solving complex and challenging problems. Students work in groups to investigate and solve problems, developing collaboration and research skills. Group work, where students collaborate to achieve a common goal, solving problems or discussing topics. This approach develops social skills, communication and teamwork.
