Quality in logistics processes, from storage to distribution, is a key differentiating element for operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. For these reasons, the implementation of quality management systems, as well as the certification of logistics companies based on internationally recognized technical standards, is vital. Since logistics consists of a vast and interconnected chain of processes, it is essential to ensure quality at each stage, optimizing resources, reducing waste, and promoting continuous improvement to achieve operational excellence.

    The objectives of the course unit are: - Present the concepts and techniques associated with quality management. - Develop and implement a quality management system. - Introduce total quality programs. - Present quality tools. - Apply the requirements of quality management systems. - Promote quality improvement.
