    O1. Understand the organization and its management within the contemporary socio-economic context. O2. Follow the evolution of the main management theories and paradigms over time. O3. Analyze the main concepts and theories within the framework of the functions that make up the management process. O4. Define mission, strategy, and organizational objectives. O5. Characterize different types of organizational structures. O6. Identify and explain the objectives and instruments used in the effective management of organizations. O7. Explore the different functional areas and their interrelationships within organizations. O8. Recognize the main current trends in management and emerging organizational forms. O9. Contextualize the organization in relation to its surroundings, considering different organizational paradigms. Competence (from the students' perspective) C1.   • MetodologiaMethodology
    Synchronous distance learning: 1. Collaborative exploration of concepts: Brief introduction to concepts followed by group discussions and problem solving. Presentation of texts/videos or other documents that students will explore in face-to-face classes. Face-to-face: 2. Practical application: through the analysis of practical cases (using flipped class strategies). Autonomous: 3. In addition, students are encouraged to analyse a case proposed by the teacher. The teacher gives feedback on the analysis of the case studies (tutorial guidance - OT) in person in the classroom or via the Moodle teaching/learning support platform.

    Avaliação Curricular (contínua):
    A1. Portfólio de exercícios individuais realizados em sala de aula.
    A2. Relatório de exercício prático (grupo).
    A3. Teste final teórico/prático (individual).
    A classificação final é calculada através da fórmula Classificação Final = A1*0,2+A2*0,4+A3*0,4.
    O estudante é aprovado se obtiver classificação igual ou superior a 9,5 valores.
    Avaliação Final / Avaliação em Época de Recurso/Especial (A):
    Hipótese 1:
    A1. Portfólio de exercícios individuais realizados em sala de aula. O estudante obteve avaliação positiva nesta componente: mantém a
    nota que será considerada nestas épocas de avaliação.
    A2. Relatório de exercício prático (grupo). O estudante participou no trabalho de grupo e obteve classificação positiva na componente
    individual: mantém a nota que será considerada nestas épocas de avaliação.
    A3. Teste teórico/prático (individual). O estudante realiza este Teste em qualquer das épocas em que se submeta a avaliação.
    A classificação final é calculada através da formula prevista na avaliação Curricular (contínua).
    Hipótese 2:
    O estudante não obteve nota positiva nos exercícios de sala de aula (A1) e/ou não participou no trabalho de grupo ou participando obteve
    classificação negativa na componente de avaliação individual.
    Avaliação Final, Avaliação em Época de Recurso/Especial (A): O estudante realiza o exame teórico-prático (A=100%) e é aprovado se
    obtiver uma classificação igual ou superior a 9,5 valores em 20.
    A classificação mínima na avaliação curricular (continua) a aplicar é a seguinte:- Portfólio de exercícios individuais realizados em sala de aula: 10 valores- Relatório de exercício prático (grupo): 10 valores- Teste final teórico/prático (individual): 8 valores
    A avaliação dos trabalhos práticos em grupo, inclui a avaliação individual dos estudantes que terá uma ponderação de 40% na
    classificação do estudante nessa componente.
