  • ObjectivosObjectives
O1. Acquire solid knowledge in Data Communication, LAN, WAN and Wireless Networks. O2. Understand Architectures, Topologies and Protocols essential for the design of modern networks. O3. Identify the various types of networks and their specific applications. O4. Master the principles of structured network design and design. C1. Describe the structure of a network, including devices, transmission media, and required components. C2. Describe each layer of the OSI model and compare it to the TCP/IP model. C3. Define IP addressing schemes for entire networks and subnets. C5. Identify network technologies, following Ethernet and IEEE 802.11 standards. C6. Define the addressing structure of a network following the IPV4 and IPV6 protocols. C7. Plan and implement computer networks using the most appropriate technologies for each situation.

  • MetodologiaMethodology
The teaching methodology combines synchronous online activities, in-person sessions, and independent study. Online sessions take place on the Cisco Networking Academy platform, emphasizing hands-on learning through problem-solving and the use of the Cisco Packet Tracer simulator for network modeling and configuration. In-person classes are based on Problem-Based Learning (PBL), using real equipment and Packet Tracer to reinforce knowledge. Independent study includes reviewing course content and completing additional exercises. Support resources are available on the Moodle and Cisco Networking Academy platforms, as well as in the networking lab. The instructor provides tutorial guidance and feedback in person or online. Students also earn the CCNA1 - Introduction to Networking certification from the Cisco Networking Academy.

  • AvaliaçãoEvaluation

    Avaliação Curricular (contínua):
    classificação do estudante nessa componente.
