Present the techniques and methods for developing and maintaining information systems. O4. Characterise the support systems and technologies applied to the management of organisations. O5. Discuss the impact of the evolution of computer environments and systems on organisations. O6 Present the fundamental concepts of cybersecurity in the context of organisations. O7 Discuss the impact of AI applied to management processes. O8. Prepare students for the strategic use of information systems in organisations. Competences: C1. Plan and manage information systems projects suited to the organisation's objectives. C2. Participate in the selection of information systems best suited to the organisation's objectives. C3. Participate in and develop applied research activities.

MetodologiaMethodologyIn-person: 1. Theoretical/practical classes: presentation of concepts and discussion of program content. 2. Practical demonstration (theory with real application and practical application work) of the work developed by students, ensuring high levels of motivation, commitment, and learning. 3. Students will be asked to carry out activities where they develop skills for conducting research applied to real or simulated contexts and where the use of scientific writing methods and techniques is prioritized. Independent: 4: Consolidation of the content taught in class through additional research on the different topics covered and the development of supplementary work.

Avaliação curricular (contínua):
A avaliação curricular será concretizada com recursos aos seguintes instrumentos:
- Participação nas aulas (10%) –
Realização e apresentação de trabalhos (30%)
- Realização de um trabalho individual (60%).
Avaliação final
Os estudantes que não se submeteram à avaliação curricular ou não obtiveram aprovação na mesma submetem-se à avaliação final concretizada através de um trabalho/relatório escrito (100%)
