    Objectives: O1. Introduce the concept of a system and its usefulness in the study of complex situations. O2. Distinguish and compare different information systems. O3. Present the techniques and methods for developing and maintaining information systems. O4. Characterise the support systems and technologies applied to the management of organisations. O5. Discuss the impact of the evolution of computer environments and systems on organisations. O6 Present the fundamental concepts of cybersecurity in the context of organisations. O7 Discuss the impact of AI applied to management processes. O8. Prepare students for the strategic use of information systems in organisations. Competences: C1. Plan and manage information systems projects suited to the organisation's objectives. C2. Participate in the selection of information systems best suited to the organisation's objectives. C3. Participate in and develop applied research activities.

  • MetodologiaMethodology
    The teaching methodology used is geared towards practical demonstration (theory with real application and practical application work) of the work carried out by the students, guaranteeing high levels of motivation, commitment and learning. Students will be asked to carry out activities in which they develop skills for carrying out research work applied to real or simulated contexts and in which the use of scientific writing methods and techniques is favoured.
