ApresentaçãoPresentationCommunication is transversal to all areas and domains of the human being, whether at a business or personal level. This time, the importance of the Information, Communication and Negotiation Techniques Curricular Unit in the students' academic career is understood. Through the conceptualization of the concepts of information, communication and negotiation, it is intended to provide students with knowledge, tools and techniques, based on active methodologies for their applicability in everyday and professional life. The contents of this UC will be transversal and suitable for different degrees, to identify real situations in the context of the current job market. The contents were based on three main axes that are interconnected and complete, such as information, communication, negotiation and conflict management.

ObjectivosObjectivesObjectives 01 - Provide students with knowledge and understanding of the principles and objectives of information systems for management. O2 - Describe the communication process and identify the types and functions of the image in the message illustration. O3 - Recognize the company's information system, in order to equate the behavioral and organizational dimensions. O4 - Define negotiation knowledge as a process of developing organizational culture. Skills S1 - Frame information in management strategies. S2 - Present ‘internet’ tools as a communication and information instrument. S3 - Diagnose, analyze and make decisions regarding information collection, communication and negotiation.

MetodologiaMethodologyThe teaching methodologies will be primarily active, but expository and interrogative methods will not be neglected for transmitting scientific concepts and content inherent to the UC. This time, the following methodologies will be used: Flipped Classroom, where students will be challenged to communicate content and conclusions regarding a scientific article in their study area to their colleagues. Debate, based on individual interpretation of pre-supplied documentation. Project Work, where students will be challenged to carry out critical individual work about the role of Artificial Intelligence in their field of studies. Case studies and group work will be discussed in class, and theoretical content will be applied practically.
