ObjectivosObjectivesO1. To describe the scope and principles of occupational hygiene; O2. Classify the physical, chemical and biological risk agents; O3. Identify parameters, measures of assessment, prevention and protection, legislation and technical standards for physical agents. At the end of the curricular unit students should be able to: C1. Identify and propose of measures for prevention of occupational risks specific to occupational hygiene, especially for the prevention of physical agents. C2. Develop simulation cases with application of methods of calculation and analysis solutions at the context of occupational hygiene.

MetodologiaMethodologyIn-person: 1. Expository method: presentation of each of the content topics. 2. Practical application with case studies aimed at consolidating knowledge. 3. Practice based on the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) methodology, aimed at finding solutions to problems identified by students or proposed by the teacher. Independent: 4. Guided research proposed by the teacher to analyze practical cases proposed by the teacher. The teacher provides feedback on the development of the problem addressed in the laboratory practice (Tutorial Guidance - TG) in person in the classroom and/or through the Moodle teaching/learning support platform.
