    O1. Present the importance of people management in the context of strategic management of organizations; O2. Present new forms of recruitment aimed at choosing the best candidates; O3. Raise awareness of HR management issues in an international context; O4. Develop strategies for motivating human resources; O5. Provide the acquisition of skills related to the development of applied research or project work. At the end of the course, students should be able to: C1. Discuss the importance of the HR function in the development of the organization; C2. Present new forms of recruitment aimed at choosing the best candidates; C3. Produce and present written work following the rules of scientific writing. C4. Participate in applied research activities.

    1. Expository and interrogative methods (presentation of content) and, above all, active methods; 2. Participatory (presentations and discussions by students), based on case studies. The aim of these practices is for students to acquire skills and competencies geared towards the development of applied research or project work.

    A avaliação curricular é concretizada através da combinação dos seguintes instrumentos: - Participação nas aulas, incluindo a apresentação de trabalhos (20%) - Realização de trabalhos práticos realizados em grupo (30%) - Realização de trabalho final individual (50%). Os estudantes que não se submeteram à avaliação curricular ou não obtiveram aprovação na mesma submetem-se à avaliação final concretizada através de uma prova escrita (50%) e elaboração de um relatório escrito (50%) relacionado com uma temática definida pelo docente.
