ApresentaçãoPresentationThe course aims to understand the concept of psychology and the main theoretical approaches, identify and characterize research methods, explain theories of motivation and emotions, learn about measures of intelligence and personality models, analyze processes such as perception, memory, and thinking, and apply this knowledge to practical cases and real contexts, demonstrating mastery of the most commonly used methodologies in psychological research.

Identify and characterize the most commonly used methods in research, recognizing their potential and limitations. O3. Explain the main theories of motivation and apply them to the analysis of practical cases in real contexts. O4.Describe different emotions and identify the main theories explaining human emotions O5.Understand measures of intelligence and critically reflect on the underlying theories O6.Analyze the historical evolution and central theoretical assumptions of personality models O7.Identify the factors that influence perception and the perceptual organization of stimuli O8. Distinguish the main types of memory and the processes involved O9. Describe and exemplify the elementary psychological processes covered in the course unit O10. Demonstrate knowledge of the most commonly used methodologies, relating them to problems and contexts

AvaliaçãoEvaluation
Avaliação curricular é composta por um estudo de caso e um teste escrito, com ponderação de 50% em cada um. A classificação final corresponde à média aritmética dos dois momentos de avaliação e para aprovação à Unidade Curricular, a mesma terá que ser igual ou superior a 9,5 valores.
Os estudantes que não tenham aprovação na avaliação curricular tem possibilidade de realizar exame final (100%).
