ObjectivosObjectivesO1. Address issues of behavioral ethics in the business environment; O2. Describe the main ethical problems in business, by analyzing their relevance and how to deal with them; O3. Present and discuss the importance of ethical conduct in the perspective of valuing work and workers; O4. Analyze the issues related to corporate social responsibility and the instruments available for their implementation; O5. Provide the acquisition of skills related to the development of applied research. At the end of the curricular unit the student should be able to: C1. To discuss the problems related to the ethical issues that are posed to the management of people; C2. Produce and present written works following the norms of scientific writing.

MetodologiaMethodology1. Active methodologies, privileging analysis, reflection and synthesis (presentations and discussions by students), based on case studies. 2. It is intended that students acquire skills and competencies aimed at developing applied research work or project work, and throughout the semester they will be called upon to research, analyze and produce work where these skills and competencies will be developed.

A avaliação curricular é coerente com as metodologias definidas para a unidade curricular sendo concretizada através da combinação dos
seguintes instrumentos: - Participação nas aulas, incluindo a apresentação de trabalhos (30%) - Realização de trabalho final individual
(70%). Os estudantes que não se submeteram à avaliação curricular ou não obtiveram aprovação na mesma submetem-se à avaliação
final concretizada através de uma prova escrita (100%).
