Dynamic Anatomophisiology

Engineering Work Safety
  • ApresentaçãoPresentation
The Dynamic Anatomy and Physiology course covers a detailed analysis of the organic and vital systems of the human body, allowing students to understand how each of these systems interacts and influences each other. This course is particularly relevant within the Occupational Safety Engineering degree program, as it provides the theoretical and practical tools necessary for students to understand the impact of work activities on the human body.
  • ProgramaProgramme
    1. Introductory Concepts - Definition of anatomy and physiology concepts. - Structural and functional organization of the human body: 2. Anatomophysiology of the support and movement systems - Integumentary system - Osteoarticular system - Muscular system  3. Anatomophysiology of the control and integration systems - The sense organs - The nervous system - Organization and functions of the endocrine system 4. Life support systems - Lymphatic and immune systems, structure and functions - Cardiovascular system - Respiratory system - Digestive system - Urinary system
  • ObjectivosObjectives
O1. Frame humans as dynamic units and as biopsychosocial entities.  O2. Provide a set of knowledge in human physiology related to human development as a global and interdependent system in all its organic and vital departments.  O3. Identify physiological changes at the organic, psychological, and physical levels in the various stages of human development.  O4. Identify the need to understand the different physiological phenomena responsible for physical and motor development.  O5. Characterize the importance of Anatomy and Physiology as a basis for understanding the factors that affect workers' well-being and the relationships they establish with work.  O6. Equip students with skills that enable them to interpret, analyze, and intervene in the anatomical and physiological phenomena inherent in human behavior in the workplace.

  • MetodologiaMethodology
Face-to-face: 1. Teaching methodologies are based on the presentation of theoretical content complemented by interrogative and active methods geared towards discussion and the resolution of theoretical and practical exercises in a classroom context. 2. Learning based on case studies and practical application exercises involving problems commonly faced by qualified professionals in the field of study. Independent: 3. Guided research proposed by the teacher to consolidate the topics under study and provide input for the practical work developed by students.
