    This curricular unit aims to provide its participants with the knowledge of tools that enable them to collect data, analyze the development of processes and the performance of those involved, identify deviations and develop significant indicators for the decision-making process for management and intervention for the continuous improvement of production processes (products and services).

    The objectives of the discipline are: O1- Manage processes, identifying objectives and measurement indicators for them, demonstrating the ability to analyze results. O2 - Promote quality improvement, through the use of quality tools, demonstrating mastery of them. O3-Process data and quality records, through the application of IT resources, demonstrating mastery of the applications. 04-Develop and implement improvement programs, in accordance with normative references, promoting a culture of continuous improvement. At the end of the curricular unit, students should be able to: C1- Manage processes and mediation indicators, demonstrate ability to analyze results. C2- Promote quality improvement using quality tools. C3- Process data and quality records using the tools available. C4- Develop and implement improvement programs.

    Teaching methodologies are based on interrogative and active methods aimed at discussing and resolving exercises related to the development, monitoring and measurement of production processes (case studies) in the classroom, accompanied by the presentation of theoretical content. The teacher provides case studies and practical application exercises that require the resolution of dangerous conditions usually the responsibility of the qualified professional in the area of ¿¿study, as well as other materials through the content management platform (Moodle).
