  The course begins with an introduction to commercial law and its general concepts, followed by the characterization of commercial law as a distinct branch. It then examines the notions of business and commercial establishment, as well as the obligations of traders. Particular attention is given to commercial companies, including the different types of companies and the characteristics and specificities of each type. The course also addresses negotiable instruments and the legal framework of e-commerce. Furthermore, it explores the legal regime of competition and abusive practices in trade, concluding with the study of commercial contracting.

• MetodologiaMethodology

  Teaching and learning methods combine theoretical and practical classes, with the presentation of concepts, discussion, and application of the syllabus content in different contexts, together with the use of Problem/Project-Based Learning (PBL). Students are also expected to consolidate the content covered in class through independent research on the various topics addressed and the development of complementary individual or group work.
