ApresentaçãoPresentationThis course aims to provide students with an in-depth understanding of the essential concepts, theories, and practices related to strategic management and business planning. Throughout the course, we will explore the theoretical foundations of business strategy, the processes of strategy formulation and implementation, as well as the tools and techniques used in the strategic planning of organizations. This course will give students the ability to understand and analyze a company as a whole, articulating the various functions that comprise it with the trends of the environment in which it operates; the ability to use theoretical tools and analytical instruments that can be useful in business practice, particularly in terms of planning, implementation, and evaluation and control of strategy results.

To understand the different situations of strategic analysis, including the analysis of the environment, the industry and the stakeholders; O3. Use rational approaches to the identification and choice of alternatives including key competencies and strategy based on scale and non-scale; O4. Analyze issues and practices related to the implementation of chosen strategies; Skills and Competences: C1. Analyze the external business environment, industry analysis and competitiveness; C2. Analyze business and company strategies; C3. Design global strategies and their respective strategy control and performance management.

MetodologiaMethodologyFace-to-face: 1. Theoretical/practical classes: presentation of concepts and discussion of program content. 2. Flipped classroom methodology: The instructor provides videos and other documents in advance on the content to be covered in class. 3. Case studies: Resolution of cases proposed by the teacher on the topics presented in the videos/documents made available. Autonomous: 4. Consolidation of the content taught in class through additional research on the different topics covered and the development of supplementary work. The teacher provides feedback on the development of the proposed exercises in person or through the Moodle platform.

AvaliaçãoEvaluation
Avaliação curricular (contínua):
1. Teste intermédio (individual).
2. Exercícios práticos (grupo). Estudantes resolvem dois caos propostos pelo docente.
3. Teste teórico/pratico final (individual).
A classificação final é calculada através da fórmula Classificação Final = A1*0,2+ A2*0,4+A3*0,4.
Avaliação final ou em época de recurso/especial [A]:
Hipótese 1:
A2. Exercícios práticos (grupo). O estudante realizou os exercícios práticos nos quais obtiveram avaliação positiva e ainda avaliação positiva na avaliação da componente individual.
A1. Teste teórico/prático (individual). O estudante realiza este Teste em qualquer das épocas em que se submeta a avaliação.
A classificação final é calculada através da formula [A]=A2*0,4+A1*0,6.
Hipótese 2:
O estudante não realizou/participou os exercícios de aula ou realizando obteve classificação negativa e/ou obteve classificação negativa na componente de avaliação individual.
Avaliação Final, Avaliação em Época de Recurso/Especial (A): O estudante realiza o exame teórico-prático (A=100%) e é aprovado se obtiver uma classificação igual ou superior a 9,5 valores em 20.
