  This course aims to provide students with the study of work, using time management methods and techniques that increase production and manage productivity within organizations.

  1. Productivity- Factors that influence productivity- Connection of productivity to work study 2. Structures- Types and hierarchical and functional linkages 3. Services- Studies: Objectives and functions- Methods: Study of general working conditions. Environment at workplaces. 4. Workplace evaluation 5. Implementation- Types and objectives to be achieved- Study methods 6. Planning in unit production- Operation scheduling 7. Work simplification- Stages of work study- Decomposition and recording of facts- Analysis and critique- Determination and application of the new method 8. Measurement and determination of times- Timekeeping- Predetermined time models- Instantaneous observations 9. Learning curves, incentives, and motivation.

  Present the concepts of productivity. - Study the methods for evaluating the workplace. - Use work simplification techniques. - Present techniques and methodologies for analyzing and optimizing production flows and workstations. - Design and plan workstation activities. - Use techniques for measuring and determining time. - Detect and eliminate inefficiencies and increase productivity.
