    The curricular unit Internship fills totally the second semester of the last year of the Professional Higher Technical Course in Digital Communication, being developed in work environment.  The internships provide students with the opportunity to complement, develop and consolidate the learning, skills and attitudes acquired throughout the course, through an effective link from theory to practice.  The internships are held in entities of the core areas of the course, namely the areas of communication and technology with which training protocols are established in a work context, being accompanied by a local supervisor and an ISLA-IPGT advisor.

    The Syllabus of this course is determined by three components: The set of activities and tasks that the students will perform in a work context, which are agreed between the local supervisor and the internship advisor, consigned in the Training Plan. Tutorial follow-up sessions. Thematic sessions, where themes such as methodologies for the elaboration of technical-scientific reports will be addressed, namely the norms and presentation of the Final Internship Report.
  • ObjectivosObjectives
    The internship aims to put into practice, complement and develop, in a specialised way, the knowledge, skills and competences acquired during the course, constituting an instrument of preparation for integration into the labour market.  It also allows the development of initiative, organization, responsibility and teamwork capacity and the necessary tools for the elaboration of technical and scientific reports, such as the Internship Report.
