    Objectives: O1. To understand the concept and types of tourist destination and their importance in the tourism industry; O2. Define and explain the concept of a tourism product, including its key components and characteristics; O3. Identify the strategic tourism products in Portugal and discuss their contribution to tourism in the country; O4. Define the concept of the tourist market and its essential elements and assess current trends and challenges in tourist markets; O5. Develop strategies to create authentic and memorable experiences. Skills and Competencies: C1. Evaluate the importance of tourist destinations in the tourism industry, emphasising their role in attracting visitors; C2. Define and explain the concept of a tourism product and analyse how tourism resources are transformed into marketable tourism products; C3. Demonstrate the ability to evaluate the impact of strategic products on Portugal's tourist attractiveness.

    1) Theoretical-practical teaching: Presentation of concepts and discussion of the syllabus. 2. Laboratory practice: Technical visits that provide a direct and immersive experience, allowing students to observe, interact and learn from professionals and environments in the tourism sector; Research into tourism markets and products; Critical analysis of case studies related to tourism markets and products and debate; Development of innovative tourism products that solve problems and gaps in the tourism market. 3. Simulated practice: Activities that allow students to explore real-world situations related to the identification and development of tourism products, applying theoretical concepts and developing skills.
