    The course analyzes and explores different economic activities and high-risk sectors, identifying risk factors and preventive measures, and developing skills for planning safety, assessing risks, choosing appropriate solutions, and promoting safe behavior among workers.

Use of AI in case studies for accident analysis, root cause identification, and generation of recommendations for improvement.
  • ObjectivosObjectives
    O1. To describe the various economic activities, whose differences are reflected in different security and health of work;  O2. Characterize the sectors most at risk, identify specific risk factors, and prevention;  O3. Define and implement the means of security planning.  At the end of the curricular unit students should be able to: C1. Apply techniques and methodologies for assessing potential risks,  C2. Decide on the most appropriate solutions to solve specific situations;  C3. Motivate workers to adopt safe behavior in the exercise of professional activity.

    A avaliação curricular e/ou a avaliação final consiste na elaboração de um trabalho prático (40%) e uma frequência (60%). Todos os momentos de avaliação são de carácter teórico e prático.
