    To explain the rules that must be followed in a dissertation or project report, as defined in the regulations governing dissertations and project work for second-cycle courses in force at the institution. To present fundamental concepts necessary for scientific research. To identify the stages involved in developing a dissertation or project work. Differentiate between the stages of the research process Practice the ability to review the appropriate bibliography At the end of the course, students should be able to: Plan research by combining theoretical and practical components Critically evaluate the role of research in the professional field, in the domain of knowledge and in the domain of know-how Prepare a master's thesis or project work Master the rules of citation (APA) Design and plan studies and research projects following ethical principles and making appropriate use of tools based on generative artificial intelligence

    The syllabus will be approached using an expository, active and interrogative methodology. In order to consolidate knowledge, pedagogical activities will be developed, such as article analysis, critical reflection group work, practical exercises to simulate the various stages of an investigation process. In addition, students develop a research project proposal.

    Avaliação final:

    Todos os estudantes que não tenham concluído com sucesso a avaliação contínua podem apresentar proposta de projeto de investigação ou de trabalho de projeto (100%), na época de avaliação definida pela instituição.
