    O1. Understand the main concepts and principles of public health and epidemiology  O2. Identify risk and protective factors related to the population's health. O3. Know the main determinants of health, factors that influence the health of a population (social, economic, environmental, behavioral, biological). O4. Analyze health indicators and their importance in assessing the health situation of a community.  O5. Know the main disease prevention and control measures. O6. Understand the importance of epidemiological surveillance and epidemiological studies in public health. O7. Understand the use of technologies for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting epidemiological data, with applications of artificial intelligence and big data, in epidemiology.

    Synchronous (distance): MET 1. - Expository, interrogative, and interactive methods: Presentation/explanation of concepts using expository, interrogative, and interactive methods. All pedagogical support materials are made available through the Moodle platform. In-person: MET 2. - Active methodologies: Practical application through exercises and assignments in a classroom setting, using case studies and discussion forums. Autonomous: MET 3. - Reading of the recommended bibliography. Completion of practical exercises not completed during practical classes and others proposed by the instructor. These materials and exercises are made available on the Moodle platform.

    Avaliação curricular Contínua:
    AVAL 1. Teste final teórico
    AVAL 2. Trabalho em grupo sobre interface da gestão indicadores epidemiológicos e tecnologia em saúde.
    A classificação final é calculada através da fórmula Classificação Final = 0,8*AVAL 1+0,2*AVAL 2. O estudante é aprovado se obtiver classificação igual ou superior a 9,5 valores.
    Avaliação Final (presencial) - A: O estudante realiza o exame teórico (100%) e é aprovado se obtiver uma classificação igual ou superior a 9,5 valores em 20.
    Época de Recurso e Época Especial (presencial) -A : O estudante realiza o exame teórico (100%) e fica aprovado se obtiver uma classificação igual ou superior a 9,5 valores em 20.
