ObjectivosObjectivesThis course aims to provide students with their first contact with scientific research methods and techniques applied to data collection processes in a health context. Students will develop skills in observation, research, documentation, and critical analysis of the procedures and practices experienced. Learning objectives: O1. Familiarize students with research methods and techniques and their application to the scientific areas of the study cycle. O2. Develop skills in active observation and detailed documentation of data collection processes in health. O3. Prepare written reports following the methods and techniques of scientific writing. O4. Improve critical analysis skills in health data collection practices and techniques.

MetodologiaMethodology1. The first phase of the course will cover content related to scientific research in order to prepare students for the written reports required for the project work. 2. The methodology for monitoring the project work will be the responsibility of the supervisor, but, as a general rule, it will consist of meetings at a frequency appropriate to the work/student in question. 3. In addition, the supervisor may require the student to submit a series of interim reports as a further means of monitoring compliance with all the stages and tasks required for the project work. At the end, the student must write a final report on the work carried out.

Avaliação Curricular (contínua e presencial):
Esta modalidade de avaliação é constituída por:
AVAL 1. Participação ativa na realização das atividades propostas no trabalho de projeto. AVAL 2. Redação do relatório final de trabalho de projeto.
A classificação final é calculada através da fórmula Classificação Final = 0.4*A1+0.6*A2. O estudante é aprovado se obtiver classificação igual ou superior a 9.5 valores em 20.
Avaliação Final (A) (presencial) (em qualquer época de avaliação): O estudante apresenta o relatório final de relatório de projeto (A=100%) e é aprovado se obtiver uma classificação igual ou superior a 9.5 valores em 20.
