  • ObjectivosObjectives
    The aim of this course is to give students their first contact with the methods and techniques of scientific research applied to data collection processes in a health context. Students will develop skills in observing, researching, documenting and critically analysing the procedures and practices they experience. Learning objectives: O1. To familiarise students with research methods and techniques and their application to the contexts and scientific areas of the study cycle. O2. Develop active observation skills and detailed documentation of health data collection processes. O3. Prepare written reports following the methods and techniques of scientific writing. O4. Improve their ability to critically analyse health data collection practices and techniques.

    1. In the first phase of the CU, content related to scientific research will be covered in order to prepare the student for the production of the written reports envisaged in the project work. 2. The methodology for monitoring the project work will be the responsibility of the supervisor but will generally consist of meetings with a frequency appropriate to the work/student in question. 3. In addition, the supervisor may require the student to submit a set of intermediate reports as another way of monitoring the fulfilment of all the stages and tasks set out in the project work. At the end, the student must write a final report on the work carried out.

    Avaliação Curricular (contínua e presencial):
    Esta modalidade de avaliação é constituída por:
    AVAL 1. Participação ativa na realização das atividades propostas no trabalho de projeto. AVAL 2. Redação do relatório final de trabalho de projeto.
    A classificação final é calculada através da fórmula Classificação Final = 0.4*A1+0.6*A2. O estudante é aprovado se obtiver classificação igual ou superior a 9.5 valores em 20.
    Avaliação Final (A) (presencial) (em qualquer época de avaliação): O estudante apresenta o relatório final de relatório de projeto (A=100%) e é aprovado se obtiver uma classificação igual ou superior a 9.5 valores em 20.
