    The course integrates occupational health and safety management into the overall management of the organization, addressing models and systems for prevention, monitoring, and correction of preventive plans, and developing skills to manage OHS services and prepare a management system manual.

    O1. A framework for the management of safety and occupational health management organizations,  O2. Describe the main models and management systems of prevention; O3. Monitoring and evaluating the implementation of preventive plan and carry out corrective actions.  O4. Define the elements of quality assurance services prevention.  At the end of curricular unit students should be able to: C1. Manage the services of security services, hygiene and health at work in context; C2. Draw up a manual system of managing health and safety at work.

    A avaliação curricular será concretizada através da realização de um teste escrito (50%) e de trabalho prático (50%), de acordo com o planeamento horário e os conteúdos programáticos da UC. 
    Caso o aluno não atinja a nota mínima na avaliação curricular (10 valores), a sua avaliação será concretizada através da realização de exame (100%).
