Physical agents

  This curricular unit aims to provide its participants with knowledge about Physical Agents (PA) in the scope of occupational hygiene, which will enable them to identify hazards, analyze the observed risk and know the legal requirements to be taken into account in the implementation and monitoring of production systems and processes. Know how to diagnose, in production processes, the needs for risk assessment, recommend and implement changes in the various domains aiming at continuous improvement.

  Os conteúdos programáticos permitirão aos estudantes apreender os conceitos mais relevantes e conhecer os requisitos para o estudo dos agentes de risco físico, bem como utilizar as melhores técnicas para a identificação e avaliação da exposição a estes agentes e a recomendação de medidas de controlo de risco visando a melhoria continua dos processo produtivos.

• MetodologiaMethodology

  The teaching methodologies are based on interrogative and active methods, oriented towards the discussion and resolution of exercises related to the Physical Risk Agents in activities carried out in various organizations through the analysis of case studies in the classroom, accompanied by the presentation of theoretical content. The teacher provides case studies and practical application exercises, usually the responsibility of the qualified professional in this area of ¿¿study, as well as other materials through the content management platform (Moodle).
