  The course begins with an introduction to Commercial Law, presenting its general concepts and characterisation. It then explores the notions of business and commercial establishments, as well as the obligations of traders. A central focus is placed on commercial companies, including the different types of companies and the specific characteristics of each. The syllabus also addresses credit instruments, the legal framework of e-commerce, and the regulation of competition, with particular attention to unfair trade practices. Finally, the course examines the main aspects of commercial contracting.

  Course Objectives: Introduce the fundamental concepts of commercial law.Analyse the legal frameworks governing different types of commercial companies.Foster students’ interest in commercial law and its practical relevance.Develop skills in legal analysis and interpretation. Learning Outcomes By the end of the course, students will be able to:Identify the key elements involved in establishing a commercial relationship.Discuss the legal framework of commercial companies within the applicable regimes.
