  • ObjectivosObjectives
At the end of the course unit, students should be able to: - Analyse the evolution of air transport, knowing its main contributions as an economic and business impact; - Have a general knowledge of air transport, its legal and regulatory framework, liberalisation processes and management implications; - Identify some of the vicissitudes inherent in the air transport business and its relationship with the players in the sector; - Evaluate the different business models in the regular (traditional and low-cost airlines), charter and cargo transport sectors; - Interpret the main constraints and indicators governing the activity and the resulting impacts on the air transport sector; - Evaluate the future of the air transport sector, both in terms of its more aeroplane-related aspects and in terms of processes with an impact on management.

  • MetodologiaMethodology
The course adopts innovative methodologies to enhance the teaching-learning process, fostering active student participation. Scenario simulations in the air transport sector allow for the practical application of theoretical concepts. The use of real case studies facilitates critical analysis of challenges faced by airlines and airports. Interactive digital tools, such as gamification platforms and big data analysis, improve the learning experience. Additionally, debates and project-based learning encourage collaboration and the development of innovative solutions. Flipped classrooms and multimedia content complement the approach, ensuring a dynamic education aligned with industry demands.
