  The Development Project course focuses on the practical application of project management principles and methods to the development of a complete and functional technological solution. At this stage, students mobilize the knowledge acquired throughout the course to design, implement, and manage a project in a business or simulated context, integrating traditional and/or agile methodologies.

  1. Principles of academic integrity, codes of ethics, and plagiarism. 2. Research methodologies applied to project work. 3. Writing scientific articles and technical reports. 4. Written and oral presentation of the final project report.
• ObjectivosObjectives

  O1. Present the fundamental concepts of project management. O2. Present the phases of a project and develop the specific aspects related to each one. O3. Discuss agile methodologies in project management. Competencies: C1. Apply project management concepts in a business context. C2. Apply the knowledge acquired in a simulation context, incorporating not only the knowledge acquired in this unit, but also the knowledge acquired in other curricular units. C3. Develop and manage a project, namely the development phases, incorporating the theoretical and practical knowledge acquired in this management.

• MetodologiaMethodology

     1. The methodology for monitoring the project work will be the responsibility of the supervisor, but, as a general rule, it will consist of meetings at intervals appropriate to the work/student in question. 2. In addition, the supervisor may require the student to submit a series of interim reports as a further means of monitoring compliance with all the stages and tasks planned. 3. Reading of the recommended bibliography. This will serve as the basis for the preparation of the final project report.

  Os estudantes podem entregar o relatório do projeto em qualquer das épocas previstas:

  a. Época de avaliação final.

  b. Época de recurso.

  c. Época especial.

  A avaliação é efetuada conforme previsto no regulamento de avaliação aprovado pelos órgãos competentes da IES. Assim a presente unidade curricular (Projeto de Desenvolvimento) será avaliada através do relatório final do projeto que será apresentado perante um júri de que fará parte o/a Diretor/a de Curso, o/a docente orientador/a e um/a docente da área científica, nomeado para o efeito, que exercerá a função de arguente. Nos casos de impedimento do/a Diretor/a de Curso ou quando este/a seja o/a orientador/a, será nomeado outro/a docente do ciclo de estudos para integrar o júri. O júri da defesa do trabalho final de ciclo de estudos delibera sobre a classificação final a atribuir, na escala numérica de 0 a 20 valores, sendo necessária uma classificação mínima de 9.5 valores para aprovação à unidade curricular.
