  • ObjectivosObjectives
O1. Understand the architecture of computers and the inner workings of modern digital systems. O2. Recognize and describe the main computer architecture models, including the Von Neumann model and the bus model, identifying the physical and logical components of a typical computer system. O3. Understand the main abstractions introduced by operating systems and their role in the interaction between hardware and software. O4. Identify the components of an operating system and explain their functions and interrelationships. C1. Analyze and describe the architecture, operation and interaction between microprocessors and the other components of a computer. C2. Integrate and configure the various components of a computer system, understanding how they combine to form a functional machine. C3. Explain the structure and functions of an operating system, recognizing the algorithms and mechanisms that support the efficient and optimized execution of its main components.

  • MetodologiaMethodology
The teaching methodology combines synchronous online activities, in-person sessions, and independent study. The online sessions employ the flipped classroom approach and collaborative exploration of content, using digital tools to develop and solve exercises. In-person classes focus on practical application through exercises and assignments, based on materials previously made available on the Moodle platform, promoting independent learning and problem-solving. Independent study includes completing additional exercises and case studies assigned by the instructor, with all supporting materials available on Moodle. The instructor monitors student progress through tutorial guidance and in-person or asynchronous feedback on the Moodle platform.

    classificação do estudante nessa componente.
